Digital Marketing Executive (Hybrid)

We're looking for a detailed orientated, enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our Marketing & Business Development team, to help drive growth by creating and publishing supporting materials.

Full Time, Permanent, Hybrid
Based in Cookham, Berkshire with 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home
Salary – up to a maximum of £30,000pa (DOE)


Role Overview:
Some of us at Fancensus are long standing veterans of the video games industry, others are just starting out on their journey, but all of us are extremely passionate and knowledgeable about games!

We're currently seeking a talented, reliable Digital Marketing Executive who can create both static and video content, materials and implement promotional campaigns throughout the year. You will also be responsible for developing our social identities and collaborating on social content plans for both B2B and B2C channels.


Core Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of the games industry, or be an avid games player that enjoys a range of Indie / Mid-tier games not just mainstream Call of Duty and FIFA/EA Sports FC
  • Have good language and writing skills, a clear advantage would be if you have written a game related blog or features on a website
  • Have a working knowledge of Adobe Suite, especially In-Design, Premeire and After-Effects
  • Graphic design experience would be a huge advantage
  • Demonstratable experience of using key social platforms, especially YouTube & TikTok, ideally having already built an audience on either one.
  • Can create and edit video content, blog content, infographics, thumbnails, etc.
  • Good knowledge of MS Powerpoint and Word. Some knowledge of Excel would also be advantageous.
  • Analytical mined – the ability to interpret data would be a distinct advantage

Job Summary


Reporting to the VP of Commercial and supporting our Business Development efforts, this role will be hands-on in the day-to-day creation of sales, marketing and social media materials. You will engage a community and grow our profile within the video games sector. You will understand how to position content, create materials and circulate them on the correct platform, be that a digital mailshot, LinkedIn, Social Media or on websites in which we need to create strong relationships with. This also includes updating and adding content on our own website.

You will need to learn our analytics platform and be able to prepare dashboards that delve into topical subjects in order to create content. This platform is proprietary to Fancensus and is constantly evolving. The ability to keep pace is a must.


You will be a self-starter, having had some office based working experience already. You will need to be progressive in your ideas and able to use your initiative, always needing to think on your feet and tackle issues positively. As well as working from your own ideas at other times you'll need to be able to work to a brief.


The role has potential scope in the long term to head up the Marketing department in the future and build a team of content creators as we develop the Fancensus brands globally.


This is a hybrid role with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home, however, we might consider fully remote for the perfect fit.
