We finish our Summer Games Fest 2024 analysis by looking at the top 10 titles from SGF and the Xbox Games Showcase that received the highest placement count and most visibility on Xbox Series and PS5 Console Storefronts.
Sony are still heavily supporting Call Of Duty with Black Ops 6 being the second most visible product on PS5 stores even though this is now a Microsoft owned franchise. Xbox Game Studios' Sea of Thieves was also very visible on PS5 stores, taking 5th place.
There's strong support for its own titles on Xbox Series stores, with Call of Duty Black Ops being the top title and Sea of Thieves also making an appearance. Also more support for the new Assassin's Creed Shadows title, which sits in 7th on the Xbox Series Store but doesn't make the top 10 on PS5 storefronts.
There's quite a difference between the two store types, with only few titles making it into both top 10s.
