A video game title’s campaign from start to finish can see varying degrees of success on social, press and commercial data metrics. In this video we take you on a journey through the campaign of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
This remake has been widely publicised in the recent months and over the last 2 years has been featured on prominent shows such as Summer Games Fest 2023, 25th Anniversary Livestream of the original title and most recently in a PlayStation State of Play.

Rebirth’s exclusivity to the PlayStation platform of course limits its reach due to its availability to players. However, its performance against other titles on the platform is on the same level as other AAA titles. When looking at the data we found that in most cases it was able to outperform recent 2024 video game releases such as Tekken 8, Helldivers 2 and Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. Against another PS5 Exclusive Marvel’s Spiderman 2 however it does come up short which is largely down to the strength of its IP vs Final Fantasy.
This Final Fantasy remake title offers players many improvements including better graphics, more mini games, new dynamic difficulty and much more.
